The UK signals we watch
Each one is a public, dated record that predicts security & cctv work, and a documented reason to get in touch this week.
Full planning permission granted
A commercial or residential scheme clears planning, with the applicant and the agent named on the decision.
Site security, hoarding and CCTV towers are let before the main contractor mobilises, and the approved drawings often specify a lodge or boundary treatment.
Demolition notifications
A Section 80 demolition notice is accepted by the council.
Void security and K9 while the building stands empty, then site security through the works that follow.
Hotel, care home and logistics consents
A hotel, care home, warehouse or data centre is approved or reaches reserved matters.
Permanent CCTV, access control and guarding are specified for opening day, and no vendor exists at consent.
Companies House: new occupiers
A company incorporates or moves its registered office into your postcodes.
A new commercial occupier scopes cameras, alarms and access control in its first weeks, before it has a facilities lead.
Public tenders with a security lot
A council, NHS trust, college or housing association publishes a notice on Contracts Finder or Find a Tender.
Guarding, CCTV monitoring and key-holding contracts, where reading the notice the day it appears is most of the advantage.

Where the records come from
- Planning registers. Every local planning authority publishes its applications and decisions. We read the registers daily: full permissions, reserved matters, amendments, discharge of conditions, listed building consent, with the applicant and the agent named on the record.
- Demolition notifications. A demolition notice under the Building Act tells you a building is about to stand empty and a site is about to open. Published by the council alongside planning.
- Companies House. New incorporations by SIC code and registered office changes in your postcodes, which is how a new commercial occupier shows up before it has a website.
- Contracts Finder and Find a Tender. Published public-sector notices, council, NHS, education and housing, where the timing of the notice is most of the advantage.
UK security & cctv questions
Are these commercial security leads or domestic CCTV enquiries?
Commercial. The record behind every lead is a planning decision, a demolition notice, a company registration or a public tender, so the buyer is a developer, a contractor, a commercial occupier or a public body. We do not sell homeowner CCTV enquiries.
What does a UK security lead contain?
The site or company, the dated record that triggered it (planning reference, notice or tender number, with a link), what the record implies for security, and the decision-maker with a verified email. Company phone where listed. Anything unproven is labelled rather than hidden.
Which areas are open for security in the UK?
£600 a month for a small area such as Doncaster, £1,050 for a medium one such as Bristol or Sheffield, £1,500 for a large one such as Greater Manchester or London. One plan covers every service you provide; only the size of the area moves the price. Month to month with 30 days' notice, no setup fee. Tell us what you do and the area, and within 24 hours you get a proposal with your exact rate and 3 to 5 sample leads from your own area, before you pay anything.
Is contacting the applicant on a planning application allowed?
The applicant and agent are named on a public planning record, and the contact is a company or a professional acting for one. For your outreach you are the controller under UK GDPR and PECR applies: corporate addresses can be marketed to with a clear opt-out; sole traders need more care. We deliver corporate contacts and label anything unproven.
How is the feed built for a UK security & cctv company?
You tell us what you do and where. We work out which of the four UK records predict security & cctv work in your area, read them daily, and send only the ones that fit what you told us. England, Scotland and Wales; Northern Ireland on request.
